I told you I would make a PART 2 Post on the UMMAH STARS APP!
So here it is!
In my previous post which was posted a week ago, I spoke about my feelings about my kids using the Internet, Devices, and Apps.
I expressed my concerns and expectations on what I want my kids to benefit from when using an App.
I also spoke about the UMMAH STARS APP in short.
First of all, the Ummah Stars App is not yet launched, in case you are looking for it on your phones or devices.
The project is still collecting funds on their Launch Good page, if you are feeling generous, go ahead and
make a contribution and be a part of this App from the beginning!
What I did not show you was what the actuall APP will look like and what are the features being offered.
Here they are:
THE APP WILL BE AVAILABLE ON BOTH iOS and Android and Web Devices.
CATERS TO DIFFERENT AGES. FROM CHILDREN TO EARLY TEENS.
I personally feel ANYONE can benefit from this APP.
The App will also have Different Characters and they will each be from a different ethnicity.
This made me so happy because I am all in for Multiculturism.
There are so many features I can’t even tell you about yet. But, what is amazing about this APP is that
your child’s learning process won’t go in vain! They will be rewarded and be able to track their progress.
This will motivate them to keep learning!
I hope you enjoyed this Part 2 of my
post about UMMAH STARS
I would like to end today’s post with a Hadith which the Founder of this APP
has mentioned on her FACEBOOK page.
It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) say: “Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. A man is the shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock. A woman is the shepherd of her husband’s household and i
“Each of you is a shepherd and each of you is responsible for his flock. The ruler is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock. A man is the shepherd of his family and is responsible for his flock. A woman is the shepherd of her husband’s household and is responsible for her flock. A servant is the shepherd of his master’s wealth and is responsible for his flock.” He said: and I think he said, “A man is the shepherd of his father’s wealth and is responsible for his flock. Each of you is a shepherd and is responsible for his flock.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 583; Muslim, 1829.
Part of our duty is to raise our children from a young age to love Allaah and His Messenger (sal Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and to love the teachings of Islaam. You should tell them that Allaah has a Paradise and a Hell; that His Hell is hot and its fuel is men and stones. The following story contains an important lesson.
